Which resort for Halloween weekend?

I'm trying to put together a halloween weekend trip for myself, my mom, and my two kids, boys ages 10 and 8. Can anyone whose been in recent years tell me which resorts have the funnest activities for kids on Halloween day and night? I'm thinking of attending the Friday night party and spending Halloween day and night enjoying our resort. Or would it be better to attend the party on Halloween night, and not even worry about the resort activities?

We were at the World last year for Halloween with our DD. We stayed at CBR, and they had trick or treating tables set up out in the courtyard/patio area outside of Old Port Royale and pool area. Our DD had a blast trick or treating there, and then we had tickets for the Halloweeen party that night as well. So, we did our resort stuff, and then headed to MK around4:30 for the party. We had a great time, and wouldn't have wanted it any other way!!!:mickey: Have a great time-it's now our favorite time of year to go!
