I had heard May 1st, but the official website doesn't say anything about them going on sale. Anyone heard anything?

It is usually the beginning of May without much advance notice if any.

Ditto. My experience has been usually May 1st. There's very little to no advance notice. I don't think many nights are complete sell-outs, Halloween being the exception. Maybe a few other days as you get closer to Halloween.

We will be arriving at WDW May 1st. We have a second trip planned for September. If these tix do go on sale then, can we purchase our tix at our resort's guest services for our september trip? Or do we have to purchase them in the park? TIA!

I believe you can purchase them at the Concierge Desk at your resort.
