Mickey's Vey Merry Christmas Party - Effect on MK crowds

Hi there! :mickey: I am trying to plan out my December trip. I am wondering what people's experiences have been with going to the Magic Kingdom on the day of a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (if you are not going to the party that evening.) Does having the party that day makes the parks much more crowded even in the morning hours? (Note: this is a Sunday I am thinking about in particular.)

Morning and daytime there's little to no impact by the party. However, after 4 pm the crowds go up considerably as folks can get into the park with the party ticket starting at that time.

Thank you, Strmchsr!! I was hoping that was the case and was planning to go to MK just for the morning and leave when the party crowds come in. But I wasn't sure if it was really busy all day even early. Thank you for your help!

In my experience, crowds earlier in the day are actually lower on party days as those who are not intending to go to the party usually avoid the park due to the early closing time.
