Any ideas on how to find out what restaruants would be safe for daughter with a bad Fish/shellfish tree nut allergy?

Most any place will be fine. Just note the allergy on your ADRs and the chef will come out and discuss your meal with you to make sure your daughter can eat something she will enjoy. They are very accommodating. I would just recommend avoiding places like Coral Reef that are fish dominating.

I have many friends who children have SEVERE allergies. They go to Disney all the time. They have told me that they have been wonderful to them and their dietary needs.
Like the previous post says the chef will come out and speak with you.
I would also avoid Teppan Edo...where shellfish can be cooked on the same area which can cause cross contamination.
Other than that I don't think you will have any problems.

As mentioned, just make sure you mention it when making ADRs and I would again mention it when you get to the restaurant. The chefs will make your daughter her food seperately (even at the buffets).

My niece is anaphylactic to tree nuts and has been able to eat without incident at Disney.

My daughter is highly allergic to eggs. We have the epipen to prove it. So, I have posted numerous things about preparing ourselves and Disney for a trip with allergic child.

Here are a couple links to past discussions. I'm warning you before your read. I'm neurotic when it comes to my child's allergy so, beware! :D

Thank you very much for the info. Do you have the eamil address so that I write them about my dd fish allergy and tree nuts. My concern is that they will fry everything together. We wanted to try Ohana's but are afraid to do so. We went on the cruise 4 years ago and they were wonderful with her diet. Made things special for her everynight. Recently her fish allergy has gotten worse. She reacted to a pizza that had been cut by a pizza slicer used for a clam topped pizza pie. We also carry the Epi pen with us.

Here is the email address for the special dietary needs team at Disney [email protected]

here's another good FAQ on WDW site

At at least one of the CS meals that we went to, they had an allergen free fryer that only the manager used to prepare all the allergen meals herself.

At the TS meals, the chef came out and addressed our needs. They will be happy to make everything fresh for your child themselves. You need not worry - even though you always will as a parent of a child with a food allergy.
