1st Week of May Fantasmic! Showings doubled

Im going next week, and Disney just changed their DHS hours for the park to close at 10 on Fantasmic evenings and added a new showtime (10:30 in addition to the original 9:00.)

Sweet, one more hour and a shorter wait for the second show :thumbsup:

But...may also be reflective of possibly larger crowds than originally anticiated.

No other park hours have been altered so Im not too worried. Besides my last trips have been in July, June and March I suspect crowds will still be below my expectations.

Do you know if this 2nd showing for the entire summer or just May?

I'm confused.... is this next week or the first week in May? I just checked the WDW website and the hours they are showing are the same as they have been with DHS open most nights only until 7:00.

I dont know where you are looking but heres the calendar (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/hollywood-studios/calendar/?showMonth=may2010) I found the new times. Saturday the 1st, Sunday the second, and Wednesday the 5 in May DHS is now open until 10 (instead of 9) and when you click on individual days you will notice a Fantasmic show at 9 and again at 10:30.
