What is the best table service breakfast outside of the 4 main parks?

We are looking to use a table service credit for breakfast one day before going to Downtown Disney for the day. We won't have admission to any parks.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

GF Cafe always gets great reviews - it's on my list of places to try.

The buffet at Cape May is pretty good.

Kona! I know the Tonga Toast gets the most praise (and not without cause), but I also enjoyed their macademia-nut-and-pineapple pancakes, and their omelettes.

Depends on if you want characters or not. For no characters I would recommend Kona Cafe all the way! Others will probably also mention Boma and Grand Floridian Cafe. For a character experience I really like Chef Mickey's and Ohana's. Happy eating!

Yum! I just looked up the GF cafe and Kona breadfasts.... they both look DELICIOUS! I wouldn't know how to pick!

Thanks for your recommendations!

My DH would say GF Park Fare for breakfast, he believes that he could live on those sticky buns. It is always a must for us.

Another vote for Grand Floridian Café. It is by far our favorite place to have breakfast. If you enjoy eggs benedict, take a look (http://inlinethumb55.webshots.com/46262/2466954780057110631S425x425Q85.jpg) at the lobster eggs benedict (they also serve traditional eggs benedict).

Until I saw Christine's picture of that lobster eggs Benedict :tasty: , I was going to suggest that you go a different route: use your TS credit (assuming that you're on the dining plan though I may be wrong) and have a "semi TS breakfast" at Wolfgang Puck's Express (we had a great breakfast there in January: the place was empty, you place your order, get your drinks, sit down and your food is brought to you... very relaxing and civilized). The food was great and you're already in DTD. There are several places over in the area for a nice TS lunch (particularly Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Olivia's over at OKW). But after seeing Christine's pic, all suggestions are off! :eat: ;)

Depends what you're looking for...

For a relaxing and delicious sit down b'fast: Kona Cafe (Tonga Toast really IS delicious!)

Buffet: BOMA is great! What a unique and varied selection.

For characters (outside parks): We like 'Ohana the best. The Polynesian atmosphere and the food are great. The characters are fun (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch)!

For me, it would be Chef Mickey's. I can't get enough of the place! ( Breakfast only, but that's a different story) It's so alive with excitement, and the buffet is fabulous! :mickey:
