R.I.T. wins first round of the NCAA Div 1 Hockey

RIT ( Rochester Institute of Technology) beat Denver today in an upset 2-1. This was their debut Div 1 play-off game!!
My daughter is a sophmore at RIT and this is so exciting !!!!

Going to the FROZEN FOUR-first time in school history-April 8th in Detroit

I go to a few Indiana Ice (USHL) games each year and although there aren't any Ice alums on RIT, there are seven former USHL players on the RIT squad. I used to have Ice season tix when they were a IHL farm club for the Blackhawks in the '90's.
Now with two DD, their schedule is my schedule. Never played hockey before but I love the game and especially the Frozen Four.

R.I.T. got slaughtered in their FF play-off berth 8 to 1 WIsconsin.

WIsconsin in turn was slaughtered for the championship against Boston College 5 -0.

Great season by all the teams. Can't wait for next year.
