I was noticing that the price difference for lunch and dinner for the same item was really substantial. Are the portions larger at Le celier for dinner?

I don't know about the dinner portions, but we ate there for a late lunch in February and I was more than happy with the portions. I ordered the fillet and mushroom risotto (so very yummy!) and I couldn't finish it. And, because we had the dining plan, I got dessert, which I also couldn't finsh. So, even though I didn't answer your question, I would definately do lunch there again!

Yes, the portions are larger.

And worth every penney if you are lucky enough to get a reseravation.

YES! Dinner portions are much larger. Great place to eat lunch or dinner!

We have eaten Lunch here....never been able to get a dinner ressie....and the lunch is great!! Like the above poster said, it is a pretty big portion. We had 4 in our party and only 1 finished their entire meal. I would say if money is an issue, go for a lunch ressie. You will love it!! :)

We ate there for dinner and lunch in November. I had the filet mignon and my DS and DH had the New York Steaks both times. They were the same size (portions) for both lunch and dinner. If you are ordering those items, I would go for lunch when it is cheaper.

We had the lunch on our last visit. We were full (not stuffed to the gills) and loved it there. I loved the pretzle bread and DD loved the chocolate "moose". I would certainly have a lunch there again.:mickey:

We have eaten there for both lunch and dinner. The menus vary slightly however the portions were the same.

Lunch is typically cheaper then dinner (by a dollar or two) due mostly to the fact that they can charge more for dinner, just like dining establishments in the real world.

Reservations are harder for dinner, but frankly having the heavier meal mid-day is better than late, in my opinion.

P.S. >>> Make reservations!!! There has been a lot of chatter lately about winging it, but I make every attempt to get on lists to avoid disappointment ... but than is the planner in me.

Hope this helps.
