A friend of mine is thinking of buying for her 9 year old son a 10 day child non expiring ticket for use this year & utilize the balance for a future trip. She was wondering that if they dont use the ticket until he was much older (ex 15) can she still use the child ticket for her son to enter the park. Is there a cutoff of how old you can be to use a previously used child ticket & do they have your names on it to prove it is actually his ticket?

As long as you use at least one day on the ticket as a child, they will up it to an adult ticket for free I am told. I don't know for certain, but will be checking this out next trip as I bought one park with water park option and it has never been warm enough for us to go to the water park, so still have 10 water park trips on it, plus still like 5 days park tickets left. One of the reasons I went ahead and bought it was so many people said they will upgrade to adult for free, so figured it would save me a few bucks.

Thats the way I believe it is- as long as you use one day.
