We are going to Orlando area the week of the 28th, and were just going to do Florida-ish stuff, no theme parks. But then, I ended up with a GAD b/c of something I had been doing that I didn't even realize counted for a free ticket, so that meant we could get our family of 4 into MK for 160 bucks (youngest is still under 3) - that would be doable. Just got the voucher verification email today...
...not valid for the week we're going! Easy come, easy go, I guess.

There are blockout dates on the GAD vouchers? I wasn't aware of that.

Would I Be Able to Redeem My Free Disney Ticket Anytime During 2010?
Nope. The program runs from January 1 to December 15, 2010. So, don't show up December 16 expecting to exchange your voucher for a free ticket.
Also, there are blackout dates as follows:

Walt Disney World: March 29 to April 8 and July 4, 2010
The Disneyland: February 13, 14, March 21, June 21, 22, July 4, November 21, December 11, 12, 2010.

I'm sorry, you would think with this type of promotion that you would allow the volunteer's to visit the parks whenever they could, instead of blacking out dates.
