I'm making a photo slideshow of my kids and need some good songs. Any suggestions?

What a Wonderful World, by Louis Armstrong.

My husband does that too, and usually uses instrumental piano songs. He likes the Peanuts song (Linus and Lucy), Winnie the Pooh, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow, among others.

Disney songs: "Baby mine" from Dumbo, "You'll be in my heart" from Tarzan and "Little Wonders" from Meet the Robinsons. I'm such a sap... they all make me cry.

These are the days by 10,000 Maniacs :)

Good song to go with pics!! :)

A slow song about having kids is With Arms Wide Open by Creed.

You could do a fast song, slow song, then end with another fast song. :)

What kind of music do you like? Off the top of my head I thought of -
"With Arms Wide Open" by Creed
"In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride
"Return to Pooh Corner" by Kenny Loggins
"I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack
"Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N Roses (my kids love this song as my ring tone)

My first thought was With Arms Wide Open by Creed.

I like the earlier suggestion of Always in my Heart from Tarzen.

If they're boys...there's a little remembered artist...Glenn Yarbough...that does a song..."Walk On Little Boy". I can hardly listen to that one anymore...SIGH...It's all about a little boy growing up and a parent that's been there to guide them along the way.

How about Little Wonders by Rob Thomas from Meet the Robinsons. This is one of my favorites to use for slide shows:thumbsup:

I'm probably not the best person to ask because this is my first attempt, but it looks easy enough. I'm just using Windows Movie Maker (came with the computer). I'm importing my pics to the story board in the order I want and then adding music. You can save or burn to disc when you are finished.

My absolute favorite parenting song, I try to always keep it in mind "Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin, very poignant

Gosh, I'm getting choked up even thinking about pictures of my girls set to this music! Especially "Little Wonders".

One song I didn't see on the list was "Teach Your Children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
A true classic.

Here's another thought. I try to put songs in that go with what's happening. We took surfing lessons at WDW so when I show those pictures I have "ride the wild surf" as the music. When I did the pictures from AK I found music from Brother Bear. For fireworks I've used "When you wish upon a Star."
