Couple of questions...

1) Can you pay for part of your meal with Dining Plan and the rest with another form of payment? Example: use the dining plan, and then pay cash for an appetizer

2) Is the gratuity still automatically charged ONLY if you are more than six people? Do they give you a check for the gratuity and then you pay with cash, credit card, etc?

Thanks!

1 - Yes, you can pay for any non-dining plan approved item OOP with any other form of payment.

2 - With the dining plan, the gratuity is automatically figured regardless of party size. You are give a bill for the gratuity which you pay with any form of accepted payment. We generally charged extra items and tips back to the room.

...actually kakn 7294 is correct....you will receive a bill with the 18% already figured for you, plus any other items you may have added such as appetizer, beverage not on the plan..etc.....

Has this recently changed? When we were there in May, on the regular DDP, we received a bill, with 18% and 20% tip calculated, but we could choose to leave any amount we wanted, with any form of payment.

The tip is figured for you - at 18% and 20%, but not charged to you. You pay whatever amount you want.
