Hello everyone!

My class is taking a trip to WDW over spring break (the middle of March). For someone who is making their first trip to WDW what kind of suggestions would you have for me? Like which rides should I be sure to go on, or what should I probably try to avoid.. I am 19 and I can imagine there are some places that I may not find that interesting. Any help would be great!!!

Thanks,
Jeff

I was 30 when I first visited, and I tried to do as much as i could, including kiddie rides. There were only three things I did not enjoy :

- The tikki tikki room
- Dumbo style rides
- The little mermaid show

EVERYTHING else was great. I dont think you should skip anything. Nobody knows what you will enjoy !

Your sense of humor may make some kiddie things amusing.
1. Be there at rope drop, Follow the running teens.
2. Read the ride guides in books/online.
3. There are only a few big thrill rides, lot of the entertainment is theater style. I use the $52 park hopper to freely go from park to park all week.
4. It is a large area. Do the research before wearing out your feet.
5. Waterparks are weather dependent (to me) in March. It also depends on your ticket type.
big: Animal kingdom Expedition Everest
Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain
Disney Studios: Rockin Roller Coaster and
Tower of Terror.

My 19 year old daughter loves the following:

Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Peter Pan's Flight
Tower of Terror
Rock'n Roller Coaster
Back Stage Tour
Beauty and the Beast Show
Everest
Dinosaur
Kilimanjaro Safari
Soarin'
Test Track
The Golf Ball (can't remember the name)

When you say "the golf ball," you are thinking of Spaceship Earth located at the beginning of Epcot.

It does depend on the kind of things that you personally enjoy, as the attractions at WDW are all very different and cover a wide-range of attraction types.

That being said, considering your time will be limited, I would say you will want to hit at the very least the following:

MK-Space Mt.
-Splash Mt.
-Big Thunder
-Haunted Mansion
-Buzz LY (missable, but a lot of fun. Like an arcade game)
-It's a Small World....JUSSST KIDDING!

Epcot
-Test Track
-Mission Space (something everyone should do at least once IMO)
-The Nachos de Pollo at the San Angel Inn in the Mexico pavillion (best....nachos....ever)
-Soarin'
-Maelstrom (not incredibly thrilling, and a bit short, but fun none-the-less)

DHS
-Tower of Terror (absolute must-ride)
-Rock n' RC (absolute must-ride)
-Lights, Motor, Action Stunt Show
-Indiana Jones stunt show (if you have time, tho LMA is more action-packed)
-Star Tours (missable, but fun in a nostalgic sort of way)

DAK
-Dinosaur (must-ride)
-Exp Everest (absolute must-ride)
-Kilimanjaro Safaris

Ok I think I just listed all the e-ticket attactions, but you get the idea.

You will accomplish so much more if you make sure to be one of the first ones in on any given morning.

First off, :welcome: to Intercot!! If you read posts here, you will find so much useful information, it really helps! As MaxPower said, my number one tip I always give, is no matter when you go, always be at the park of your choice before opening. We always get so much done those first few hours, before the masses hit. :mickey:
