If I'm planning a trip for May 19th through the 24th(week before Memorial Day) 2010, how crowded should I expect it? I was expecting it to be less crowded and less hot than waiting until June.

Actually, that's when I'll be down there! Late May is our absolute favorite time to go to WDW. The weather is perfect and the crowds are great. In the past (and we've gone at this same time before), the longest wait we've had for anything has been 40 minutes. Keep in mind though that Star Wars Weekends will be going on, so DHS will be more crowded on those weekends.

Happy travels!!:D

Usually, you'll find low to moderate crowds at this time of year. It can be quite hot and humid though you usually don't get a lot of rain.

If the local schools release for the summer, you'll find a sudden surge in local visitors, particularly in the Magic Kingdom.

I went similar time frame in 2005. I love it. The weather wasnt too humid with temps in 80s, no rain, walked onto most of the rides, and we planned it right so we didnt wait more than 15 minutes on the big attractions like Soarin.

We did this in 2009. The rainier season starts in Mid May, but it was warm enough that wet was not too big a problem and not summertime hot.
The crowds were nothing like Spring break and we will do this again in spite of the rain. Even Universal on the weekend was very
manageable.
