Crowds before Christmas?

We're planning to visit WDW December 18-23, 2010. Just how large are the crowds? We normally go around Labor Day when the crowds are reported as lower than normal. Research is showing that the week before Christmas is supposed to be a "high crowds" period. Anyone with experience?

Yes, you will find the week before Christmas to be quite crowded. I would like to suggest that you take a look at the "Trip Report" forum, because right now there are many reports from folks who were there from the 1st of December through Christmas. It may give you a better idea of what to expect - and if you want to go for it, or rethink your trip timing.:mickey:
