Picnic in the Park now seasonal

Picnic in the Park, the box lunch program at AK, is now considered a seasonal offering, and is currently unavailable. No date has been announced for resumption of the program.

Any information on the popularity/success of the program? It kind of sounded like a hassle to me and since it has gone seasonal I'm guessing most thought the same thing.

2) Nothing like a Florida Winter Picnic Lunch
3) Think of the conveniences,
. . . spread out on a picnic table
. . . not using ice cubes, because soda is freezing solid
. . . not getting messy, because mittens are absorbing sauces
. . . no dripping on shirt, because slurps crystallize on your chin
. . . sitting is easy, since the longjohns cushion your tush
. . . you can converse over the noise, because words are frozen in you breath

I don't know about the popularity, but we have now done it twice, and my kids (12, 9, and 4) all loved it. It was a lot of food...good food...and they loved being able to pick the place where we could spread out. Also, NO LINES. Period. I hope they continue this. It's unique, and yummy!

I was hoping to try this when we go later this year. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
