Just wanted to let whoever doesnt know, you can buy the Disney Dooney & Bourke products they sell at WDW through Disney's mail order company. When i was at WDW in december they were all sold out of the wristlet so i called wdw mail order company on my way home and placed my order. They were on backorder at the time but i was put on a waitlist for when they were back in stock. You dont get charged till it is shipped out to you. I get mine by UPS today! I am so excited

You can find pictures of them on the different website's, you can also search for them on ebay.
Mine is white with different colored pictures of cinderella's castle, chesire cat (from alice and wonderland) tinkerbell, the rose from beauty and the beast. And it has the little pink db heart charm clipped on the side.

Mine only took a little less the a month to actually receive it, and that was during Christmas time shopping, so it shouldn't take too long for you.

My two passions are Disney and D&B. I never considered a marriage of the two until recently. I never carry my bags in the park so I'm not sure I'd buy a Disney D&B bag, but the idea of the wrist-let is intriguing. Thanks for the heads-up. :mickey:

I have always loved dooney & bourke bags but could never afford one. So when I saw the Disney & D&B wristlet I was super excited. It was my first D&B purchase and I love it.

Would someone mind PM'ing me the phone number for merchandising that I could call to see about getting on the waiting list for one of these awesome bags?? I found some on ebay, LOVE the black tote with the Mickey's! But would like to see if I could get it directly from Disney.

I would appreciate the info!

I really didn't like the way the white D&B purse looked online, but when I saw it in WDW, I fell in love with it. I actually found the wristlet first in MK, and bought it on our first day in WDW. I got 10% off with my AP, so that saved a little. I went back later in the week to get one for my friend for Christmas, and they were sold out...EVERYHWERE. I called WD Merchandising, and they couldn't find it anywhere. Bummer.

Then, later in the trip I was shopping at Summer Lace in the Grand Flo, and saw the purse. They had 8 or 9 of them, so I got one. Again, saving 10% is a nice little bonus. They were sold out the next day!

I saw the black wristlet in the MK at the end of our trip, and they were more expensive than the white ($49 vs. $45), and I didn't like it that much compared to the white one.

The only gripe I have is for a $150 purse, the handles are junk. They got dark quickly from the natural oils in my skin, and from hand lotion. I tried to gently clean them (like I do successfully with my other leather and man made purses), and they got worse. Oh well, it doesn't stand out too badly since your eyes are drawn to the design on the purse, but I expected much better quality. I just don't like using the strap. I hate using shouldn't straps on purses that have very structured and noticeable handles. It just doesn't look right.

Their vachetta leather is supposed to age with sunlight and the natural oils of our skin. That's how they promote it and it sounds like that's the leather they used for this bag's handles.

Yeah, but when you have very light tan handles, a dark spot where you hands hold the handles looks gross. It looks like you never wash your hands.

I honestly didn't even realize they were leather. The felt like cheap vinyl. Oops.

I can always clean my other leather purses with a mild cleanser and water, or water alone. The D&B leather is kind of junky, IMO. Vachetta is basically unfinished/untreated leather. It should develop a deep honey colored patina over time, but my handles are just looking dirty, not just darkened. They would have been much better off just making the handles out of the same material as the body of the purse.

Since the purse is mostly man made material, and only the handles and trim are leather, I thought the entire thing was man made (again, because the leather trim seemed so fake). I grabbed one of my Chlorox wipes to clean one of the handles first, and it got worse. I then tried only water on the other one, and it got exactly the same way. Luckily they improved slightly when they dried, but still looked like they did when I started. I didn't realize there was a super special way to clean it, or that they used leather that was so delicate and rare.

I just read about how to clean Vachetta leather, and basically, it's futile. Apparently now my patina will get much darker than the honey color that should naturally occur if you basically never touch it.

While I still love my purse (a little less than before, though), this is my first and last D&B purse. For that large amount of money, I shouldn't have to handle a purse like it's a delicate flower or something. It's a PURSE. I'll stick to Jessica Simpson and Steve Madden.

I have not purchased one of their bags that has vachetta leather so I have no first hand experience. After hearing about what's happened with your bag, I won't even bother. I do have a handful of DB bags and their treated leather is WONDERFUL. I just love the bags so much I hate to see someone give up on them, but I totally understand your hesitation.

Hi Guys! I just got my Mickey Mouse Black Wristlet yesterday. It is so cute. This is my first D&B and I am very happy with it. I chose black b/c I am a slob and know that a white purse won't last 2 days with me. The Mickey Mouse design is really cute and the wristlet size is perfect.:mickey:

OMG I'm so in love with the white pattern... adorable!! I can't wait to look for these when I get down there this coming weekend!

Any updates as to if there are in stock lately? How much are the retail prices for each of the types of bags (tassle tote, medium and large totes, etc.)??

The price for the white wristlet is $45, the black is $49.

The white tassle purse was $150, and the tote was $180. I didn't look at the prices of the black ones, but if the wristlet was a little more expensive, the others may be also.

The black barrel bag is growing on me. I may get that one on our next trip if they still have it.

That's the one that's starting to stick with me the most as well... I'm thinking about that one and then getting a wristlet in the white pattern.

Anyone with a price on the barrel bag?

The black barrel purse is $180. I bought it a few weeks ago when we were at WDW and LOVE it. I saw the purses at DTD (World of Disney and Trends) and also at one of the stores off of Main Street in MK.

Have a great trip!!!

Thanks so much for the info and the wishes! I think I'll be picking it and the white patterned wristlet so long as I can find them on Saturday! :mickey:

Wow! The barrel is $180?? Maybe I'll skip it. That's a bit much for vinyl with leather trim. It's not that much bigger than the tassle purse!

I guess the black tote is closer to $200 or so since the white one was $180 already?

If I have a DS friend going down soon, I might have them pick on up for me with their nice big discount. Another friend of mine got one with a 40% discount, and another person got a 30% discount. Beats my 10% AP discount!

Disney's online store is now selling the Disney Dooney & Bourke bags. They have the original white with the different colorful pictures from Disney, and they have the new black with the multi colored Mickey silouhette.

So I wanted to give you guys the heads up! It sure will save on the shipping that Disney Merchandise charges, and you should be able to find a promo code for free shipping or low cost shipping for orders over a certain amount.

Happy Shopping!

I just purchased the brown/tan over-the-shoulder fabric bag. $75.00. This is my first D&B and I think it is adorable! This bag will replace my Nine West brown bag. (I have to corrdinate bag and shoe color so I might have to look into a black wristlet!)
