Magical Express Question

Can you still use Magical Express if you make the reservations yourself or stay at a time share exhange? I did not know if you had to have a package thru Disney to use them or not. I am planning a stay over the marathon weekend in Jan 2011 and may exchange my time share for a resort stay at WDW. Any info will be helpful in my planning.

As far as making reservations yourself, then yes you can make reservations with DME.

I believe that anyone staying on Disney Property (except ones like Dolphin or Swan), can use DME.

I'm sure if I am wrong about this, someone will be by to correct me.

If you are staying at a Disney owned-and-operated resort, you are eligible to use Disney's Magical Express. Package, room-only, time share ... doesn't matter.

If you're booked through a time share exchange, I'm assuming your reservation is made through the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) system. If this is the case, then you'll need to make the DME reservation with DVC Member Services, rather than through the regular Disney reservations system.
