Planning a Vacation March/April/May with a 3.5 year old and 18 month old

We are planning a vacation sometime between March-May with our 2 sons, 3.5 years old and 18 months old. We are strongly considering taking our nanny. It will be to some tropical location in mexico or the carribean. looking for recommendations of where we should go? also, what to people think of taking a nanny? we have never done this before. thanks in advance for the help.

With children that young I would try an all inculsive or at least a resort that has so much to do that you don't have to leave the resort often. I mentioned recently in another post that the Atlantis on Paradise Island is an unbelieveable resort filled with so much to do that you really don't need to leave. It has many pools, a whole waterpark, an aquarium, a great beach with water sports, shops, restaurants, a casino and shows.

If you bring your nanny he/she can watch the children so you can enjoy the casino and the shows it offers.
