I just had to share, I'm in my third year of college and just made it onto the Dean's List. I've always been the type of person who is really passionate about school and puts in everything I have to doing well but never made it onto the list. My stomach disorder has always caused me to miss classes and that ten points of attendance has constantly been my downfall. This semester I vowed to be more positive about my disorder and I'm so proud. My overall GPA this semester was 94.76! :D

This just proves to me that positive thinking and hard work can get you so far!

Congratulations! I know how you feel. I was always an overachiever. I would get sad if I got a B! I recall getting a perfect 4.0 one sememster. I was in WDW of all places and I gave my parents the info to log in for me... They called me and I was on :cloud9: It's really nice to have all your hard work pay off.

Hey, I have ulcerative colitis and I understand completely. Sometimes I work so hard and I feel like I'm shortchanged because I had to leave class early or I can't make class at all because of my stomach. You can get tired and lose the fire that's needed to be a straight A student.

Keep working hard, it will pay off in the end, I know it. Congratulations and PM me if you want to chat more about "tummy" issues.
