Last week Wednesday we got about 12" (yuck). Since then we've only gotten a few dustings.

We were supposed to get a great big 'storm' (for us, that is) yesterday...but it sort of fizzled out....just got the rain and a bit of sleet. Made me sad....was looking forward to a little of the white stuff....

I'm with you on this one - we didn't really get anything here, but I work in Durham(RTP area) and they were under a Winter Storm Warning. It actually looked like the frozen precipitation was sticking to the road when I left work, but as I got closer to home, everything was just wet.

For us it all depends what station we listen too, at first the storm was not going to come that far inland..now they are saying 12-18 inches, perhaps more!

We have a couple of inches with predictions of only 1 - 2 inches more. It's nothing really.

I'm currently in South Jersey where we have about 7-8 outside our place, with estimates of up to 24 inches! Philly is supposed to get an estimated 12-18. We never get this much snow in December.

My mom went out to measure our snowfall around 11:45-12:00-ish and we had 15 inches. I'm not sure how much we're supposed to get since all the reports have different amounts.
I think snow is pretty and all, but I really hate it in December. There's just way too much going on. After January 1st, I say let it snow..

We got 18 inches last week here. Nothing since then though. But I've heard reports of snow for Dec. 24 and 25 nothing like driving to a family holiday in the snow.

Sounds like the Mid-Atlantic is getting hit with a similar type storm that we had last week. At least we got ours during the week and my office was closed. Not nearly as much fun getting all that snow and not getting a snow day.

We have about 20 inches at this time, and it is still coming down at a good rate. Cleared the car and driveway once, can't even tell, and the wind is starting as well... It is true... snow is a 4 letter word... :ack::thedolls:

I'm right on the "line" so it could be 1-2 feet. It didn't start until about midnight. I'm not looking forward to seeing what the morning brings! But at least my shopping is all done and almost all wrapped too.

I am also in Amish Country PA and we have a good 2 feet on the ground. The only good thing I can say is that I'm glad it's the weekend and we can all just stay home. :mickey:

We were supposed to get hit, but it missed us for the most part. Only an inch here in Western Massachusetts. My daughter(16) had all her friends over and they stayed up all night watching and hoping to be snowed in. They're all sad this morning. I'm happy! Shoveling was easy.

:(

Personally, I'm jealous of everyone getting the snowfall. Have loved seeing everyone's pics on Facebook.

Although it's been a bit cooler here the last few days, I'm still not used to a 70 degree Christmas. It's just not right.

We are about 10 miles outside of Philly, right next to Valley Forge -- and right now it looks very much as General Washington would have seen it. We got about 10 inches and no sign of it melting any time soon.
