Lots of people at WDW this week?

2 things lead me to this conclusion. Last year, I was there this same week and it was crowded with lots of people - people who were very WDW savvy. Also, there's not a lot of people posting here on Intercot this week. At least, not as much as usual. So I'm guessing that all those WDW savvy tourists are regular Intercotees who leave this week yearly. I know: purely circumstancial.

Just got back the day before yesterday. Crowds were non-existant at the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday but were moderate on Wednesday.

We do enjoy going at this time of year but it has been several years since we've actually gotten there during the Christmas holiday season.

Last year we were there about this time and it was crowded so we talked to a few people and they told us they were DVC members and they got special discounts to come at that time.
