Hopefully I'm posting in the correct location, I was how/why Disney came up w/ the name "G-Force Studios"? For example, in MK, each window down Main Street is named after an imagineer; in this same vein I was wondering the "source" behind G-Force Records? :sing:

I thought it was just because there is a lot of G-Force put on you when you're starting the rollercoaster?

I believe it has to do with speed and g-forces encountered on the roller coaster.

Yeah I believe it is a reference to the g-force you feel during the launch. Hence the "turning the recording industry upside down" slogan.

Just as a side note, the g-forces experienced during the first launch are approx. +4.5g which is more than the astronauts feel during a space shuttle launch (though the astronauts feel their g's for a much longer duration.)

I can't remember where, but I seem to remember somewhere there is an announcement made where they say, "G-Force records, where we're turning the record industry upside down".
