Harry Potter

Hi Everyone,

My DH asked me last night if I had heard about Disney building a Harry Potter ride. I told him I had read something about it somewhere, but I thought it was Universal...not Disney. He kept asking me if I was "sure", so I guess someone at work has told him this (and he always believes what they tell him).

So, how about it? Can anyone fill me in on this so I can give him the 411?

it is definatly Universal. They are buildingthe wizarding world of Harry Potter world in Islands of Adventure. It is due to open in the spring

Correct. Harry Potter world is owned by Universal Studios. Disney will not be getting the rights to that.

There is a preview of the HP land on the new HP6 dvd. It looks really good! I can't wait to go there

Yes at Universal Islands of Adventure near the Fire and Ice coasters. We saw it in April. It's called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and supposed to open in 2010.:thumbsup: My husband's the same way- he never believes me then looks it up online and finds out I was correct.;)
