annual pass renewal question

I renewed DW and DD annual passes in August and they received the special 15 month passes. My pass expires in January and I wanted to know when the 15 month special ended. I don't know if I should purchase the renewal in December or wait until I get there towards the end of January.

Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Ha, I misread the quote from the Disney Passholder website & thought it had expired. You have until August 31, 2010 to take advantage!

Great news! Passholders are now able to renew passes* at the special renewal rate AND get 3 additional months— that's 15 months of Disney magic for the price of 12. What a way to save! From now to August 31, 2010, simply renew by your anniversary date, or up to 30 days after, so you can lock in your 15 months.

Does that include if you buy a new annual pass? Unfortunately, no. This offer is for renewal A/Ps only. I know, bummer. We won't be purchasing new A/Ps until July for my family with a base ticket exchange we had to purchase to get the 4/3 this past year. Our passes expired this past July, and when the renewal 15 month announcement came out, we realized that we were counting on the next pass purchases to carry us through June of 2011.

The only offer I know of now is new annual pass purchases through December 31, 2009 for Florida residents are good for 15 months.
