Tell me all about the "upper berth pull down." Is it safe for a 7 year old or 4.5 year old? Are there side rails? How high is it? I'm picturing a bunk bed in my mind - have never been on a cruise.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, there are rails to keep them secure. There is a ladder they store in the closet to prop up at the end of the bunks when they turn down the beds at night. I'd put the 7 year old up top with the 4 year old on the bottom.
If you want to see pictures, just google under images "disney cruise stateroom bunkbeds".

I sure do hope they are safe, our upcoming cruise in August 2010 our stateroom has these beds and our 16 y/o and our 6 y/o will be sleeping on them.

Yes. It was fine for our DSs who were 5 and 2 at the time (DS5 was on top).

Hi Lisa!:hi:
photo was great!
that rail doesn't look like enough to keep our whirlwind boy in bed! but we can add pillows...
