Nov. 10, 2003 – The Travel Channel aired “Great Hotels – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, Disneyland Resort” for the 1st time.
Nov. 10, 2004 – The 1st issue of “The Incredibles” comic book was published by Dark Horse Comics. The full color 32 page comic was adapted from the Disney/Pixar animated feature. (There would be 4 issues in all)
Nov. 10, 2005 – The 2005 National Medal of Arts were presented by President and Mrs. Laura Bush in an Oval Office ceremony at the White House. Among the ten recipients was Disney animator Ollie Johnston.
Nov. 10, 2006 – The 31st annual “Festival of the Masters” began in Downtown Disney at WDW. (2-day event)
Nov. 10, 2006 – The drama club at Severna Park High School became the first school in Maryland to perform Disney’s “High School Musical.”
Nov. 10, 2006 – Walt Disney became the first honoree of Anaheim’s Walk of Fame (which honors well-known celebrities, athletes and humanitarians who have shaped Anaheim and Orange County). The ceremony, honoring Walt, took place under the Disneyland Resort marquee on Harbor Boulevard.
Nov. 10, 2006 - Soap opera stars Gene Francis and Anthony Geary appeared at the Disney-MGM Studios in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the wedding of Luke and Laura on General Hospital, the most watched television event in daytime history!
