If you are not staying on disney property will security let you park in a resort parking lot to shop and eat there? :car:

Most of the time yes. Sometimes the lots will be restricted at some of the resorts depending on the day of the week and whether there is an "event" going on.

If you have reservations at a specific restuarant at that resort there is NO problem with parking. If you don't I'm not sure...probably would depend on crowd/time of year/mood of parking attendant.
However I'm sure if you explained that you want to do some shopping they will probably be very accomodating. :mickey:

The resorts closest to the parks are a little more strict in their policy. Unfortunately, too many people took advantage of resort parking in order to get out of paying and of course, easier in and out.

Normally, you can secure a 3 hour parking pass for any resort to shop, explore and/or eat. During very busy times of year, they may only allow those with confirmed ADR's to park there for 3 hours. It really depends on the occupancy level at that particular resort and the anticipated crowds.
