Contemporary Tower Rooms

I would like your opinions on staying at the Contemporary Tower Room, Bay Lake View. This will not be on a club level. I have read some reviews that the Bay Lake view rooms seem to be in a high noise level area because most are on top of Chef Mickey's. :balloon:

There is the same number of rooms above Chef Mickey's on the Bay Lake and MK side. Chef Mickey's takes up and entire end of the concourse. I would argue that the LOUDER side is the MK side, since the kitchen area of Chef Mickey's is on that side, and there is a lot of noise from "plate banging" as the CM's clean up and set up the buffet.

Just request the following on your reservation:

-High floor, away from Chef Mickey's side.

I did this when I stayed in the tower MK view, and we were on the 10th floor, dead center. Could not hear ANYTHING from the concourse. Could hear MK train whistle, though, and the ferry horns. But, that was a nice "noise" to hear.
