Oct. 21, 2001 - Sea Base Alpha ride in The Living Seas Pavilions closed.
Oct. 21, 2003 – Disney’s “Brother Bear” soundtrack featuring music by Phil Collins and Tina Turner was released.
Oct. 21, 2003 – A 2-day celebration of Disney’s railroad legacy began at WDW. Members from the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society and the Broggie family of California rededicated the Roger E. Broggie Steam Engine No. 3.
Oct. 21, 2003 – Disney’s “George of the Jungle 2” was released on VHS and DVD.
Oct. 21, 2003 – The second track to Disney’s “Brother Bear” (featuring music by Phil Collins & Tina Turner) was released.
Oct. 21, 2004 – Angela To was named Hong Kong Disneyland’s very first Ambassador.
Oct. 21, 2005 – The “Raglan Road” Irish Pub & Restaurant opened in Downtown Disney at WDW.
Oct. 21, 2005 – The Disney/Touchstone Pictures film “Shopgirl” had its premiere in Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto. (General release was Oct. 28, 2005) (Originally released in Russia on Nov. 11, 2004)).
Oct. 21, 2007 – The 2007 CHOC/Disneyland Resort Walk held in Anaheim, Ca. raised a record $1.6 million for Children’s Hospital Orange County.
Oct. 21, 2007 – The Best of Both Worlds Tour, starring Miley Cyrus (as both herself and in character as Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana) and featuring The Jonas Brothers, performed at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Mn.
