Can anyone give me their opinions on the picnic. We are a family of 4 (dd11 ds9) How many credits does it use up? What are the fillings in the sandwiches? Is it good value? and are there plenty of places to sit and eat it?

:number1: We just did it a couple of weeks ago, we enjoyed it but they were a little confused so check your order before you leave the kiosk. We had the chicken, fruit salad and mac and cheese. There is alot of food, we're not real big eaters and should have gotten it for 2 instead of 3. We had 3 big pieces of chicken left over and gave it to a family who was sitting next to us. Enjoy

If you order for four, it is four ADULT credits.

I found info on it at another Disney info site. If you need the web site you can send me a message and I will give it to you there. You place your order for it at the podium at guest relations in AK and you pick up your order later in the day, of course around lunch time:D.

This is new to me- what is it?

Basically,
. . . it is a boxed picnic lunch
. . . you can get it for 2 or more people
. . . you then take it to a picnic table and eat
. . . there are several designated areas around AK to eat
. . . the lunch is ordered up to about 1:30pm
. . . it can be retrieved up to 1½ hours later

NOTE: If using DDP-CS credits, it requires an ADULT credit for each serving. There are no allowances for kid credits, regardless if there are kids in the group or not.
