Having only been to Biergarten on the last trip, which of the park buffets is your favorite? Also among the resort ones?

I had to add votes for Hollywood and Vine, Boma, Chef Mickey's, and Crystal Palace.

Out of those, I'd say Boma is the most (in a good way) unique, but Crystal Palace is my sentimental favorite. :pooh:

Crystal Palace is our fav - but that's probably because we always have our first meal there the day we arrive.

1900 Park Fair is second. We had both breakfast and dinner there in August.

Chef Mickey is a must-do for the character experience, but I honestly think they could do more with the menu.

This is a difficult comparison. I have a hard time comparing Boma to Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. COMPLETLY different experiences.

This is tough. I love Boma for the quality and unique menu choices. It's hard to find that type of food anywhere else.

But I also find it hard to resist a character dinner with the kids at Crystal Palace. The food is about as plain as you can get, but the kids never complain.

Have only tried Cape May and Trails End so far. Cape May is definitely may favorite between the two. However, I will be adding Boma to the list of "have dones" this November. I suppose since we have no children, we usually steer clear of character meals.

We did not like Chef Mickey's food at all. Maybe we just hit on an off day. The character interaction was great though and our pictures were really good

1900 Park Faire has great food. Especially for breakfast. Best Cinnamon Sticky Buns at WDW.

1900 Park Faire has the best buffet that we have been to. The food quality was outstanding and they had the best desserts.

I would have voted for Donald's Safari Breakfast, but since it wasn't on the list, I voted for CP.

Tusker Breakfast is the very best but not on your list. Also Yacht Club Captains Grille is good for breakfast Buffet.

For dinner, my favorite of these is 1900 Park Fare. If you include breakfast, I love Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. :mickey:

Having eaten at all these spots, I can attest to one thing only... Each one is unique and always better than "typical buffets" one might find in their own hometown. That being said, I do have a few which are dear to me and the family: Chef Mickey's, though a bit loud, is really "kid friendly" in both atmosphere and offerings. 1900 Park Fair has sometimes gotten a bad rap as it's themeing is not as "complete" as, say, Crystal Palace. But, to be sure, it offers "above average" food. Boma is a personal fave. You can find "buffet items", but it has the most oblique line-up of all buffets. Actually, to call it a buffet is a misnomer. It is an experience unto itself... and to have the animals to view before (or after) just makes it all the more enjoyable.

We had the breakfast buffet at Tusker House on our last trip and absolutely loved it. Plus who can beat chatting with Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy over a few Mickey Waffles? :mickey:

Boma is one of our favorites, as is Crystal Palace (more for the location rather than the food). We are looking forward to trying Tusker House is January though. From all I've read, i think there may be a new favorite on the list.
