We live in New Hampshire and only get to Disney every couple of years so are never there on the actual day of our Birthdays or Anniversary.

We still plan a "special" meal for each of our 2 kids and DW and I try to get a night out for our "anniversary".

Is it inappropriate to mention our celebrations on our ADR's since they are not on the actual days of the events ? We'd like them to be special but don't want to take advantage of the rules.

Thanks

Disney bound for Christmas !

1) Disney will honor your "celebrations".
2) It is up to you.

Absolutely -- I actually asked a CM about this when I called re: some ADR's, as we're going in October and celebrating our 15th anniversary, which is in October but 2 weeks before our trip. They said we absolutely could celebrate and put our celebration on our ADR's, that that's what this year is all about. The only day you have to have proof for is your birthday, and that is only for the free park pass.

So go ahead and celebrate -- and have fun!!

Thanks for the opinions !

We don't want to break any rules but it would make the meals even more special !

Thanks again !

We went about a month after our anniversary this year. It was the only time we could get off. While it was not "our anniversary" while we were there, it was the reason we were there and we were celebrating our anniversary so we mentioned it. When asked at restraunts we would tell the cast members we were there for a belated anniversary and several locations gave us a little something special. The best was at Whispering Canyons when our server brought out two glasses of champaign and called out for the entire restraunt to join with her to wish us a happy anniversary.

By all means let people know what you are celebrating. It's the greatest place on earth and you deserve it

By all means... Celebrate:party:

We did that on our last visit. We were there on my DD's (12/4) birthday, and met some friends and celebrated her DD's birthday which was in Sept. Had no problems and had a great time.
