WCC vs. HDDR - please help

My husband and I will be visiting the world in Nov.I have made all of my ADRs to include O'Hana, Cape May Clam Bake, Le Cellier, Boma, and WCC - however, I'm trying to decide whether to cancel my WCC ADR for a HDDR ADR. However, since we are on the dining plan this would require me to pay OOP for another meal. This will be my husband's first trip to WDW so I want him to really enjoy it. I have been to the HDDR several times in the past, but haven't been to WCC. So, what would you do??? Thanks!!

Our family loves both WCC and HDDR!

So, we've often done both during a trip, but since the food is quite similar, I understand your only wanting to do one of them.

I vote for HDDR, since it is your DH's first trip. As you know, he'll really enjoy the show, the food is good and as much as I love WCC, it is just another restaurant, while HDDR is a more unique experience.
