Hi, Hammer - from across the wide Rancocas Creek in W'boro. Thanks for the reviews and great dining photos. You've got us salivating! DW and I, with family, leave in four weeks to celebrate our 50th and we are looking forward to some great dining. . . Tutto Italia, House of Blues, Citricos, V&A, Flying Fish, Yachtman Steakhouse and California Grill. Will reciprocate with photos on our return.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. Everything looks good. The gelato sampler does look like fun. Now I want to go eat at all of those places again.

So, Christine, looking back, what was your absolute favorite dish of the week, if you had to choose just one? (fortunately, you didn't have to choose! but if you did...)

Shari, it is so hard for me to choose! If I had to do it, my favorites would be:

Appetizer-the lobster risotto at California Grill, though the mussels at Narcoossee's come in a very close second. For my sister, it might the crab gateau, as she had that appetizer and I only had a taste, but I thought it was wonderful.

Entree- we loved all of our entrées (except for the under-seasoned meat at Jiko and even that was still good) but the pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta is still probably my all time favorite dish at WDW.

dessert- Probably goes to the almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoossee's, though we loved all of our desserts.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I enjoy Dining at WDW and like to expose different foods to people so they will not find them "scary" when they see them on a menu.

I went back and finally had time to look at your pictures. Very nice. A few things stuck out in my mind.

The lobster risotto bowl was way too large for that portion. It looked 1/2 empty. Please tell me that was an appetizer.

The ostrich filet looked yummy but, again, was on a huge plate.

The gelato sampler presentation was adorale.:cloud9:

Yes, both the lobster risotto at California Grill and ostrich filet at Jiko were appetizers. All of the mussels' dishes, crab gateau, sushi, arancini, and the chowder were pictures of appetizers.

The lobster risotto app is served in an oversized bowl, but it is a small portion. I thought it would be too small until I ate it, then I realized it is just right. It's a very rich dish with perfectly balanced flavors, and such a satisfying experience. It's absolutely spot on. I loved it. You really don't want huge appetizers when there are big entrees coming next, and the price is as expected for a restaurant on the level of California Grill and ingredients used in the making.

It makes sense now I know they were apps. Thanks.
