just curious whether or not a 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler is better for a person of heavy weight....

Each model has a weight rating. Best to check with the provider.

If you feel it will be an issue go for safety and get the 4-wheeler. The 3-wheeler ones are very stable and turn better (tighter radius) and can handle a considerable amount of weight without tipping. My Go-Go Elite, which is a very light weight model, does tend to tip when turning on sloops when I'm heavier. This year I'm a little lighter and have a bigger, heavier battery which I'm hoping will make a difference.

for anyone that has used Apple....i rented the heavy duty scooter.. the guy said it will go up to400lbs, but the scooter itself says 350...my dad is right at that mark....i called and the guy said he's had lots of people 400+ who's used it w/ no problems...has anyone used them who's 350 or close?
