Traveling/Flying on Labor day? Any experience?

Hello all
We are toying with the idae of going back to Disney for the last of August/beginning of September which would mean flying home on or before labor day. Has anyone done this before? If so is it the same as any other weekend as far as crowds and airline pricing? ANy other thoughts about going at that time? We are thinking of squeezing in one more trip before our boys go to school and our annual paases expire.

I know I've flown around that time but don't remember if I've actually traveled on the holiday. I haven't found end of August/early September to be a particularly busy travel time though I do think flight rates tend to be a little higher than at some other times of the year.
