DW and I are not necessairly 'big eaters'. Is it considered 'bad form' to split a plate at Citricos when paying out of pocket?

We have done this at CG and a few others, not at Citiricos. Never a problem. Full place set up and the divides took place out of site in kitchen area.
I do not like to waste food.
