DD Question: We are rolling into DW on 12/2

and we usually head to the parks around noon when we arrive. However, my guess is that we will need to check-in first at the resort to get our Key to the World card in order to eat on the DD plan that day.

I know you can check-in early online but that wouldn't seem to help you get the KTW card so can someone just please confirm that the only way you can eat on the DD Plan is to actually check-in at your resort first?

Yes you need to check in to get your KTTW card before you can use your dining plan credits. I would still do the online check in though. It is a real timesaver, you just walk up to the check in counter and your packet is already there waiting for you.
