Mears to Universal?

We have a free pass from the Super Bowl give-a-way and thought we'd visit for a day. Anyone know how much the Mears shuttle is and where it picks up from at the resorts? I thought of renting a car, but that seems like a lot of hassle for a day.

Personally, I'd probably rent a car for the day. The will pick you up and bring you to the Car Care Center (or you can rent from the Dolphin site).

Mears will come to your resort to pick you up if you go that route.

Any idea of the cost? Would it be worth doing the car? I just hate car rental lines and all.

Car rental rates have gone up quite a lot in the last year or two so I don't know what a one-day rental will cost currently. I'd suggest checking it out. The last time I explored renting from these locations, I found different rates from the different sites - even for the same day and for the same type of car.

wasnt thinking about parking, so this seems like a fair deal compared to renting a car, but maybe that depends on how many people as it could add up really quick.

We always go to Universal for a day and always take Mears...it is sooooooooo easy and costs about 14.00(i think perperson).

Thank you! There are only two of us, so, this might be the easiest way to go. I will call them Monday to see about times. I figure it is set times to go and return, so, I want to see how flexible it is. Just in case we don't want to be there from morning until late.
