If you could go anywhere in WDW for your first meal, and price was not an issue, you wouldn't need a park ticket or an ADR and you could go no matter what time it was.
Where would you go and why? :D

Narcoossee's!

It's our favorite place for dinner! It became a tradition to eat there our first night of every trip because it was the first dinner we had on our honeymoon (our first trip together).

It means we have returned to WDW, and a magical trip is in store for us!

84 days to go!!!!

My choice is Le Cellier. We did this last time and it worked out great.... Our new tradition.

We usually take the red eye in from Los Angeles, arriving at 6:30 am. After check in we head over to EPCOT do a few things there, and then on to lunch at Le Cellier. DD loved the chocolate "Moose". It makes for a relaxing time before we head back to our rooms to rest.:mickey:

Tony's Town Square. You see, we usually arrive at the Park around 2:30 pm that first day...Watching the Dreams COme True Parade while eating on the veranda...Priceless!!

Never been but California Grill, and just at the right time to watch the fireworks, whilst sipping Champagne:cloud9::cloud9:

If price wasn't an issue, I'd love to try Victoria and Alberts...second choice would be California Grill which I haven't tried yet either:blush:

I'd go back to V&A's. We had our 10th anniversary dinner there (chef's table) and I would love to go back.

LIBERTY TREE!! And if they said "I'm sorry, all we have available is fried cheese..." I'd STILL be happy!

I would start my trip at Donald's Breakfast Safari! To walk in early to the AK, take a long quiet stroll to the Africa section, then whoop it up with Donald, Mickey, Pluto, and whoever else is there - that would be great. Unfortunately, being on Pacific Time, it's waaaayyy too difficult to get the family to be up in time to get to a park by 8am - that 5am our time. Maybe one day we'll get to hit it first. Until then, we'll have to wait a few days until we can do early breakfast at the parks.

I'm sure the folks here on Intercot are getting tired of me saying the same old thing, but my choice would still be Garden Grill.

Why? Best food, atmosphere (revolving floor, view of Living with the Land boat ride), and one on one character interaction at WDW!

Ohana's. We always have Ohana's on our first night. Our next trip is in Nov. and instead of eating at Ohana's for our first night we are trying it on our last night. Its one of our favorite parts of our vacation and its kind of sad when its over with on the very first night, but I am really second guessing switching it. Instead this time we are having Chef Mickey's for our first night. Kick off the vacation with a fun character meal.

If money were no object the it would be V&A because money (value) is what keeps us from going there...my scotch-irish heritage just can't justify that kind of money for one meal.

Teppan Edo in Epcot! The food is soooo delicious(though pricey) and the friendly staff and entertainment is super!

California Grill, even with kids is fine. The food is fabulous and I love to be able to see the castle from the window. Ohana's or Kona is also good since you can hop on the monorail and head to MK in a flash or watch the fireworks from the Poly beach.

Mine would have to be Biergarten.......

but with the option that i'm not paying I would like to try Victoria & Alberts because I'm a foodie but my husband is not and he doesn't really have an interest in going there.
