Does anyone have any idea if there will be any specials in January? I saw that they were running free dining through Dec. and was wondering if they would extend it?

We don't know yet. It will probably be Oct/Nov before they let us know. it depends on how many people are already booked. If they are pretty full, no discount. If they need to fill rooms, discount.

It looks like there are several of us looking for a Jan/Feb discount.

BTW-I can't wait until the Southwest announcement. Either Mobile or Pensacola will be getting it. I can't wait!!

Expect something for January as, historically, there usually is a discount but as Iluvpooh said it won't be announced for another month or two. February is more hit and miss in terms of potential discounts.

i'm hoping for buy 4 get 3 again don't want the free dining seems people having alot of trouble getting their adrs. but i'll take it if offered.

Another January tripper here! WHOOHOOO!

I remember back in 2007, we did Disney in September, and a few weeks after we got back (which would have made it around first of October) the offer came out for $49 Value Resort rooms for January.

Oh yeah. That would rock.

i'm hoping for buy 4 get 3 again don't want the free dining seems people having alot of trouble getting their adrs. but i'll take it if offered.

thge last 2 years there were jan specials,room rate specials.
that is when we typically go for the great rates we get,but those specials do not usually come out before mid november

I always book my trip with Magical Journeys then let Wendy worry about adjusting the ressie for the discount when they are released.

this year I was not even planning on going,but I decided that waiting a year is way too excruciating and am tying something new and am trying to hunt down DVC rental points for a good deal,I want to stay AKV,but not at rack rates for sure!!!!!!!!
