being able to walk into Fantasmic at the last minute, based on current crowds? :unsure:We have dinner ressies at 50s PT at 7:15 next week, Fantasmic starts at 8:30.

I really hate to be the barer of bad news, but next week Fantasmic starts at 8:00 p.m.

From Info Central:
September 18,20,25,29 -- 8:00 p.m.

It would be a real tight squeeze to have an ADR at 50's PT for 7:15 and make it to the Ampitheater for 8:00.

At that close to showtime, I don't know if standing room is available.

We'll be there on the 13th, and I think I read that Fantasmic is 8:30 that night. Anyone been recently that would know about standing room/late arrival?

With the very limited number of Fantasmic shows crowds are packed every time. You usually have to be there an hour or so in advance.

Sorry, when you said next week, I was thinking the same time we are there (9/15 - 9/25.) You are correct in that the time on the 13th is 8:30. You know what they say when people assume.....

According to the WDW website there are 2 showings of Fantasmic on Sept 13th. The first one is at 8:30pm and the second one at 10pm.

You should have no problem catching the second showing. We have always found the second showing to have less people anyway.

Well, that's good and bad. Definitely good information to have! (I have a terrible time finding things on the WDW website - even after I knew to look there for the Fantasmic show times, I couldn't find them...:blush:) And no problem with the assumptions, I need someone to keep me on my toes!

I was hoping to run and catch TSM right at closing if we couldn't make it to Fantasmic, but now they will both be later, soooo the kids may not make it that late, and if they do, we'll have to choose between the two!! (We won't get to HS til later in the day, so I'm assuming that the FPs will be gone for the day)

We've walked into Fantasmic on each of our last three trips just prior to its starting. We got seats on the last two rows on two of the times, and were behind the bleacher seats on the last one. We've never been the type to get anywhere an hour early. I would rather miss it than get there that early.:thumbsup:
