We will be traveling from June 3 through June 9 with a party of 6.( 2 gransmothers, myself my husband, 11 yr old son, and 18 mo old daughter. Are there any discounts I can look for to lessen the cost of our trip? Any helpful advise would be appreciated as well. Thanks. Missy

Welcome to Intercot! :mickey:

Typically you won't see any potential offers for your timeframe for roughly six months (early spring). If bookings are down, then Disney may offer a reduction in rates/packages. These are usually offered to Disney Visa holders & A/P holders first, then would be offered to the general public.

Note that Disney will not switch your reservation automatically - you'd need to call and have it applied to your reservation. We have found that utilizing Magical Journeys, an Intercot sponsor, is a surefire way to "be in the know" about any discounts that are offered during your travel dates. They'll book the reservation now, but then will apply any discounts which may be released later. It costs nothing extra to utilize them, but it sure has saved us alot over the past several years by going with them!

:welcome: to Intercot !

You can keep an eye out here for deals as they tend to post them as soon as they come out or if you want contact someone from MJ (Magical Journeys). They are the disney specialists that help in making dreams come true when planning your vacation(there is no cost for their help). You can book your trip through them and then they will keep an eye out for you and let you know if anything better comes along!

They truly are the pixie dust on stress free planning of a WDW trip.

Good Luck with your plans! :cloud9:

:welcome:to INTERCOT. As the other posters said a good travel agent,(DISNEY not regular) will keep an eye out for any discount and apply it to your reservation. Also, keep any eye out here on INERCOT the MJ crew will post any known discount codes as well as valid dates and booking window.
Make sure your agent knows what you want as far as a discount.
Some people want to save money off the top on the room rate, but I prefer the upgrade to a better resort.

also, go to the disney website and sign up for the planning dvd. some think that signing up for that, and putting in your dates, can get you a pincode for discounts. it can't hurt!
