Best way to request a room/view

We're staying at the AKL next week. Does anyone have advice as to the most successful way in which to request a particular room/view on the savannah? Thanks.

About the only way to do it is note it on your reservation. There's no way to guarantee a room request, but that is generally the most effective way.

If you aren't going to be there within the next 4 days, I would call your travel agent or CRO (whichever you booked with) and have the request added. Your reservation gets downloaded to the resort about 4 days prior to your arrival, so if you're already within that window, there's a chance that any changes would be missed.

Not all resorts pre-assign rooms, so you can also ask again at check in. The earlier you arrive at the resort, the more inventory you'll have to select from. Late arrivals can get whatever is left over, so that's a big factor as well.
