Resort Hopping...how does it work?

Thinking of planning a trip for '10. We've only ever stayed at one resort per trip. How does resort hopping work?

Here's my Q's:

1. How does your luggage get from one resort to the next?

2. How do you make a reservation with 2 different resorts?

3. Do you check-out of one and then check-in the other?

4. Can you use ME when you resort hop?

1. How does your luggage get from one resort to the next?
- You have two choices - Disney will transfer it for you (might take a while) or you can take a taxi to the new resort and take it with you.

2. How do you make a reservation with 2 different resorts?
- You actually have to make 2 separate reservations, which can throw a wrench into DDP, other package parts, etc.

3. Do you check-out of one and then check-in the other?
- Yes, they are two totally separate reservations.

4. Can you use ME when you resort hop?
- Yes, nothing with ME changes. You arrange to be dropped off at your first resort, and picked up from the second.
