Just wondering if they'll let anyone ride up front in the monorails again since the accident?

Nope - not yet.
No word on whether or not it's permanent.

We were just at Disney and a family behind us asked if they could sit up front and they said no, it is no longer permitted.

According to wikipedia, it's no longer allowed.

We were down there from the 16-22, and I know I saw more than just one person in the front compartment as the monorail was pulling in, and on more than one occasion. But perhaps the driver was in training or something, I never asked or over heard others while we were there.
