Editing post, just curious

I haven't seen anything posted, and if there are posts, I cannot find them. But, can someone let me know why the editing function was removed from the threads? I know the function has been gone for some time now, but, there are plenty of times I want to edit posts the same day I submit them and can't. Is there any thought of bringing the function back?

The function will not be coming back. It allows you time to edit your post shortly after you post it. After that the post is locked down for good reason. If we allowed folks to go back and edit out things they said - it could substantially alter the conversation that progressed after the posting. If you have something to add, then just add it to the thread later as another post.

Thank you. One last question. In that thread I started in the News/Rumors thread, listing thr rumors of possible projects, would I be able to PM a mod to add rumors and/or news, as well as removing projects that come true?
