This is my annual, "Who is trying something new?" post, something that I like to do each year to see what everyone is trying for the first time as well as to share our plans.

-We added an extra day to the beginning of our trip and will NOT be going to a park, we will spend time at the POLY :tikki: to enjoy the pools, the grounds and WISHES! from the beach.
-Crystal Palace Breakfast and a Chef Mickey's dinner.....on the same day! I may regret this!
-Grand Floridian Cafe
-Typhoon Lagoon
Not too many new things planned for this trip, though I hope that we have a few new unscheduled surprises in store for us.
That's it for us....How about you?

We're staying at CSR for the first time.

We won't have be club level for the first time.:(

There will just be the 4 of us for the first time.

We are hoping to try Coral Reef for the first time.

We are trying a waterpark for the first time.

Hopefully PoTC will finally be open when we're there and we will try it for the first time!

Not sure what else because our ARD window isn't open.

Great question! I love the idea of relaxing before the whirlwind of touring the parks begins...especially if you can do it at the Poly!

This trip will be relatively short one for us, so I'm debating whether to try anything new (esp. dining) or sticking with the tried-and-true...

We have to finalize our ADRs in a week so I'll let you know what we decide and if there's anything new on that front. I heard Sanaa is great, and with two vegetarian DDs, it may be a great option.

In terms of the attractions, it's more about what we won't do this year...things we've done in the past that were great, but we don't necessarily want to take the time to do them again.

** We are staying at POFQ this time (Wilderness lodge on our last trip)

** We are taking my parents with us (who are great to travel with)

** We are adding an extra day

** We are thinking that on one or two days, we may hit the parks mid afternoon, instead of first thing in the a.m. just to try and avoid "over doing it" all week long and to give the kids a break

** Hoping to try Boma for dinner one night

** Train ride at Disney World - haven't done it!!!

We are taking three of our kids friends and have three rooms so everyone will have privacy and the girls don't have to bunk with the boys. We are also trying a couple new restaurants. La Cellier, Crystal Palace and Kona Cafe for dinner and Cape May for breakfast. We are looking forward to a great September trip.

We are! Nine years of going to WDW and I'm happy to say that there are still new things to do! :mickey:

This trip we'll be using the BBQ faciities at our DVC resort to have a cook-out with friends. :cloud9:
We'll be dining at Cat Cora's new restaurant, Kouzzina (I'm going to try for breakfast as well as diinner, so that I can report back to you all.)
We'll be trying Yak & Yeti for the first time.
Looking forward to trying out the Kim Possible "thing" in Epcot.
We're looking forward to maybe having a "sleepover" while we're there and welcoming another vacationing guest so that his folks can enjoy an adult-only evening.
I'm bringing lots of breakfast stuff from home and will be doing a lot more cooking this time around than I have in the past. (Well, except for that time with the hurricane but we won't mention that, right? :secret: )

Tomorrow morning I'm making our ADR's and we willl FINALLY be trying Le'Cellier for the 1st time this year.

I'm actually kinda nervous that it'll be fully booked but we are going during a slow week in november and I am booking the ressie towards the end of our trip so maybe that will help.

Also we'll be doing Chef Mickey's for dinner. We always do breakfast but this year we decided to do both. I am so excited! :mickey:

Known new things:

5 new (to us) restaurants for TS meals -
Sanaa
Rose & Crown (for Illuminations)
The Wave
Les Chefs de France (shouldn't that be Les Chefs du France?)
Le Cellier

We always find new (to us) rides and shows.

We may try to fit in a round of mini-golf in our 9 days. Haven't done that in the past.

I've done TL, but will try to talk DW into going there for her first time.

We upgraded to the Deluxe Dining and I think we are eating at every 2TS restaurnt except the dinner shows. We have never eaten at a 2TS at all. I think we will be too full of food to walk around the parks.
We are doing the Wilderness segway - as we did the Epcot tour last year and it was great fun. Makes the feet hurt in an odd way but it was really fun.
This year I hope to spend more time relaxing around the resort as we usually go to the parks all day.

We just came back a few weeks ago. Stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time - loved it! Ate at Brown Derby and Narcoossee's for the first time - both are wonderful. Swam with the sharks at Typhoon Lagoon for the first time - gave myself a mini-panic attack with the snorkel but loved it otherwise. Did the Behind the Seeds Tour - loved that as well.

We are going with a 2 year old this trip!!! We have been to WDW many times with older kidds and teens but now we have a little "tag along" so the whole trip will be differant and new for all of us, but I think it will be so fun to see it from his little point of view. Looking forward to the new slower paced trip. It seems like a long way off yet July 2010 but time goes by fast.
