I know it is not everybody's favorite but I love the Sci-fi restaurant. Those old sci-fi clips are a blast from the past and I love their reuben sandwiches. I have eaten there every time I have been to WDW:eat:

I don't have one that I can't live without. I love so many of them, and there's never enough time to hit them all. I usually have to live without a few because I can't afford to live at WDW (but I can dream!).

We alway go to Cape May Clam Bake, and one breakfast at 1900 Park Fair. Other than that, we just meander and eat wherever we are, when we're hungry.

the only one is Casey's ...we eat there at least once each trip....all the others kind of rotate in and out depending on the parks we visit and the times of day we plan on being there.

There's no one restaurant at Disney that I can't live without. I don't go to Disney for the food!

Raglan Road.

For some reason we can not miss this place. I dono if it's the beer, the good bread, the great food and atmosphere or what. Last time we didn't make reservations and we ended up walking in one night.

Our favorites have changed over the years...Chef Mickey's used to be our first meal
(dinner) and Crystal Palace our last meal (lunch).

Chef Mickey's still holds a lot of sentimental value, and is really a great way to kick off a WDW trip: monorail into the Contemporary, the fantastic Mary Blair artwork, fun atmosphere, Mickey + Minnie + Goofy + Donald + Chip + Dale, excellent buffet with great dinner and dessert options... my older DD is 18 and still very much a Chef Mickey's fan.

Crystal Palace is OK, but to me it's more skewed toward younger kids. We all love Pooh and his friends and the restaurant is gorgeous, though, especially during the day with the sun streaming in.

Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast was a must-do when the DDs were little, but we haven't done it in the past few years...we're considering it for dinner this trip.

I love Boma, but the rest of the family can take or leave...

Ohana's was always a must-do for dinner, but I'm a little over it...

And Kona Cafe for breakfast (Tonga Toast!) is a must-do for all of us!

While our "can't miss" list is very long (Le Cellier, 50s Prime Time, Chef Mickey's, ESPN Club, Tusker House, Crystal Palace, Teppan Edo, Chefs De France, etc etc)
The one at the top of the list is Boma.

Loved Le Cellier until they stopped including the mashed potatoes with the filet entree (now I'm not too upset when I can't get an ADR there). Now it's between Kona Kafe and the Turf Club.

Crystal Palace, consistently excellent fare with superb waitstaff and all dishes are prepared in stainless, as per French-Chef policies. Tusker House is a must do and is a close second (if not exceeds CP), the diverse dishes are so well done. Citricos is XLNT, but Boma pretty much 'takes the crabcake'; unfortunately Boma does serve the dishes in aluminum containers.

Just an FYI....You can still get the mashed potatoes. DH got them with his filet long after they were no longer on the menu with the filet. He asked if he could still get them, and the CM said it wasn't a problem.

Since we began coming (as a married couple) to the World back in 1980, there is only one place we've gone EVERY time, And that is the Hoop-Dee-Doo! Still the same fun show, still the same corny comedy, and on several consecutive visits, still the same "players" and still the same great food (and lots of it). I don't see us missing it on our future trips either!

1900 park fare. It is our absolute favorite and we are big time fans of the buffets here. I also do like Boma but we have had a bad experience there. Id like to go again just for 3x a charm cause i hate to rule it out. I do love zebra domes, potatoes with afritude, and fufu.

Cape May hands down.

We are HUGE BC fans and with that HUGE Cape May fans. The breakfast buffet with the characters is the best character interaction in all of WDW (IMHO) and the clam back for dinner is fun. The food is always great and the atmosphere is a lot of fun.

We used to go to CP every trip. The last 2 family trips it has been CP & Chef Mickey's. DH & I love Kona. Think we will have to go there on our last day. We try to hit Columbia Harbor House as well once a trip. Every visit to MK (usually every day) we can't miss the Main Street Bakery!

wow....awful lot of "can't miss" buffets on here, huh?

If i'm to interpret this right....the question is if i had to pick one and only one place to not be wiped off the face of the map....then i would probably have to go with something off the list of:
Victoria and Alberts
Jiko
California Grill
Wolfgang Pucks

probably Cali Grill when push comes to shove...but i dunno for sure

I would think the criteria should be food quality, ambience, service....but again, i might just be alone on this one.

Untill they got rid of the characters, it was LTT. Not so much for the food, but the whole experience. It was a tradition to go each time. Now after 15 trips, no more LTT. :(

Our new must go is Chef Mickey's breakfast. Again, a tradition of about 15 trips.:mickey:
